United Arab Emirates : What are its three leading green think-tanks in 2024 ?

 

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) is a “lead global intergovernmental agency for energy transformation”, its membership comprises 169 countries.

 

The UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators is designed to “fill in the gaps and address the most persistent challenges that prevent the UAE from making progress on climate action”.

 

And the Centre for Climate Diplomacy, launched by the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), aims to “guide the UAE’s foreign policy on climate change through research and diplomacy”. Its working languages are English and Arabic.
